Sibline is one of the major cement and clinker producers in the Middle East, with an annual production capacity exceeding 1.35 million tons of cement and 3,400 tons of clinker per day. Its significant production capacity and the involvement of its major shareholder, Secil, a Portuguese company with a global presence, underscore its importance in the regional market. As part of its expansion program, our team was engaged as part of the consultancy teams to explore local limestone and mineral resources.
Engineering Sustainable Alternatives
Our field team extended rock exploration to depths of up to 80 meters using triple core barrels to ensure quality sampling. Rock assessment and characterization were conducted both in-situ and in our laboratory. Zones of classified rock were identified, and volume estimates were evaluated. Alternative exploration methods were proposed, and areas of interest were categorized.
